Bernard A. Finnegan Sr., age 83, retired CPD. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Catherine, née Griffin. Cherished father of Catherine (Joseph) Allen, Ellen Finnegan, Bernard (Kelly) Finnegan Jr, Patricia (James) McCarthy and Colleen Finnegan. Son of the late Thomas Finnegan Sr. and Virginia Finnegan. Loving brother of Virginia Maurer and the late Thomas Finnegan Jr. He will be dearly missed by his 10 grandchildren Joseph and Michaela Allen, Sara and Emily Espinosa, Kaitlyn and Bernard Finnegan III, Bridget, Margaret and James McCarthy and Catherine Sabel. Fond brother in law, uncle and friend to many. Visitation Sunday May 23rd from 3-8 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago.
