Belinda was born on June 10th, 1961, to Robert (Bobby) Richardson and Mildred McRay. Belinda was affectionately known as “Mz. B Rich” and “Queen B” by her family, friends, and colleagues.
Belinda was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. At an early age, she accepted Christ and was baptized at Cleveland Church of Christ in Cleveland. She attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Collinwood High School. After graduation, she attended Kent State University.
Belinda enjoyed skating, dancing to her favorite song “Pressure”, fishing, going to eat at her favorite restaurants, and most importantly spending quality time with her family and friends.
Her love for helping others led to a passionate career in customer service at Cablevision, AT&T, and Grey Gox where she retired due to illness.
Belinda never married or had children. However, she was a bonus mom and Aunt, who passionately loved her niece, Diamond. She affectionately referred to Diamond as her “Niece Daughter” and her “Booshie Baby”. She served a pivotal role in raising and supporting Diamond from birth to adulthood. Belinda was also proud of her niece Nina Crawford as she traveled to attend her college track meet and looked forward to Nina’s visits to Cleveland from DC. Belinda loved all of her nieces and nephews and was proud to be an Aunt.
Belinda was diligently loved and cared for by her sister Taunya, niece Diamond, and her special friend Tony for the last 7 years. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred McRay and her dad Albert Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory, Grandmother; Adele Napier (Leo – Deceased), Father; Robert (Bobby) Richardson, Sisters; La-Taunya Booker (Eric), Kim Crawford (Terrence), Keisha Terrell, Katonna Terrell, Brother; Dirk Roberts Pearson (Avis), Special Sister; Reba Dickey (Rick Moe), and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and close friends.
Belinda filled every room with love and laughter. She had an unwavering love and dedication to her family and close friends.
