Barbara Juanita Ray

Barbara Juanita (Clark) Ray, 85, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022.
She was born August 17, 1936, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to the late Mary (Hicks) and Estill Clark. Barbara was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook and loved her children and grandchildren even more. A sweet lady she was great at making others feel comfortable and was kind to everyone she met. Her home was immaculate and she took pride in her family and home. Barbara raised numerous children as if they were her own.
Barbara is survived by a son, James Phillip Ray; a daughter, Pamela (Doyle) Webb; five grandchildren, Hank (Kendra) Webb, Wyatt Webb (Summer Henderson), Jerry Ray Webb, Shawn (Tina) Ray and Johnny Ray; eight great-grandchildren, Tayler, Logan, Landyn, Wyatt, Rayna, Devon, Austin, and J.T.; a brother, Johnny (Joann) Clark; a sister, Odderine Gee; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Herman Ray on August 5, 2012; daughter, Karen Juanita Ray; siblings, Phyllis Gillum, Donna Jean Ruggles, Rosella Clark, Arthur Clark, Oscar Clark and Arcus Clark.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. with her grandson, Pastor Hank Webb, officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park beside her husband.
