Barbara “Barbie” Williams
Barbara “Barbie” Williams, 56, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at her home, after a long battle with ALS. She was born on March 30, 1966, in Springfield, the daughter of Ronald J. and Rosalie M. (Charles) Robertson.
She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Rosalie; daughter, Shawnee Williams; sister, Terri Robertson; brother, Ronald Robertson, Jr.; longtime companion, Cody Colclasure; niece, Jolie Robertson, all of Springfield; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and beloved grand-pup, Scooter Jo.
Barbie was a resident of Springfield for all of her life. She graduated high school from Ursuline Academy and was of the Catholic faith. She bartended at her cousin Gary Best’s establishments. She adored her family and friends and enjoyed every minute spent with them. Barbie was truly a social butterfly and her smile lit up the room everywhere she went.
Per Barbie’s wishes, cremation will be accorded by Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Barbie at a later date.
