Barbara A. Wenzel

Barbara A. Wenzel, age 85 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Elmwood Terrace Healthcare Center, Aurora, IL. She was born on February 11, 1937 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Lawrence Dickey and Dorothy M. Snyder.

Barbara was united in marriage to Mr. Fredrick Wenzel until his passing. Mrs. Wenzel was employed as a stewardess for many years until her retirement. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Robert Wenzel of Buffalo, NY, Renee Buck of Yorkville, IL and Robyn (Joe) Bangert of North Carolina; her seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her three brothers and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Dickey; her mother, Dorothy Snyder; as well as her husband, Fredrick Wenzel.
