Anita Gruber Mundhenk Long, 84, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday evening, April 15, 2023, in Granbury.

Burial will be private at Holly Hills Memorial Park.

Anita was born on March 2, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio to Walter C. and Margaret Gruber. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. Anita was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Granbury where she sang in the choir.

Anita is survived by her son, Kent and wife Michelle Mundhenk; her daughter-in-law, Vickie Mundhenk; her grandchildren, Jennifer (John Vah), Melissa (Josh Allen), David, Nicole, Daniel (Margaret), Stefanie (Guy Hamilton-Smith); her grandson-in-law, Alex Zebutis; her sisters, Marjean Dennull, and Jan (Sonny) Routson; and her great-grandson, Oliver.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis Mundhenk and Melvin Long; her sons, Brian and Bradley Mundhenk; her daughter, Elaine Mundhenk; her granddaughter, Alicia Zebutis; and her siblings, Tom Gruber and Geraldine Mills.
