ZBIGNIEW BOCIANSKI

ZBIGNIEW K. BOCIANSKI ”ZIGGY”, a longtime resident of Yonkers NY, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at age 80. 

Born in Poland, he was son of the late Wladyslaw and Marianna (Ulbrych) Bocianski. Zbigniew is survived by his daughter, Grazyna Nisbet (Doug), his son, Janusz Bocianski (Ann) , a brother, Czeslaw Bocianski, 2 sisters, Krystyna Straszewska and Halina Skudlarek, his 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Ethan, Zachary, Kari, Jacob, Nicholas and 2 great-grandchildren. 

He had many happy years with his loving partner, Joanna Bronski, who predeceased him in 2019 and also, his extended family, Michelle Bronski (Phil Twardosz), Tonianne Lemchak (Joe) and their two sons, Logan and Wolf.

Zbigniew worked at Stewart Stamping from 1981, until his retirement, in 2008. He loved yardwork and gardening and sitting in the yard feeding and watching birds. He also liked tinkering and fabricating items.

There is NO visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Zbigniew on Friday, April 4, 2025, in St. Bartholomew’s Church at 11AM. Interment is PRIVATE.
