Yasmeen Snow
- May 27, 2025

Yasmeen Iman Snow, 29, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, passed away on May 26, 2025, in her hometown. Yasmeen was born on August 8, 1995, to Larry Snow and Gwendolyn Randolph-Shepperson in Atlantic City.
Yasmeen’s childhood was spent in Brigantine, New Jersey where she matriculated through the public school system and developed everlasting relationships. After relocating to Greensboro, North Carolina, Yasmeen became a proud graduate of the International Baccalaureate Program at Page High School. She then continued her collegiate education at both North Carolina A&T and Stockton University. While at North Carolina A&T, Yasmeen joined Beta Gamma Sigma. Yasmeen’s professional path was as dynamic and vibrant as she was. She completed an internship in accounting that took her across the country—from Connecticut to Florida, New York to California—gaining valuable industry experience. After some years exploring the financial industry, Yasmeen later found interest in the hospitality industry. She became affectionately known as the “Hostess with the Mostess” during her time at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in North Carolina. Upon returning to Atlantic City, she continued to hold many roles that showcased her versatility and work ethic in many casinos.
As a woman of many passions, Yasmeen found joy in spoken word poetry, karaoke nights, drawing vivid expressions of her artistic soul, playing pool with family, and watching SpongeBob SquarePants and Grey’s Anatomy. Her eclectic taste was matched by her radiant personality; bubbly, quirky, intelligent and well-spoken. Her laugh could fill a room, and her smile made it warmer. As a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan through and through, Yasmeen never missed a chance to cheer for her team. Her favorite saying “I’m good” was more than just words; it was a reflection of her resilient spirit and positive outlook.
Yasmeen was known to frequent Trinity Church in Atlantic City where she developed a personal relationship with God. Trinity Church became more than a place of worship; it was a community of family that she embraced with openness.
Yasmeen was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Carlyle Emery Snow. Their bond was one of pure joy and treasured moments spent watching Jeopardy, strolling the boardwalk, or enjoying beach days under the sun. Carlyle was Yasmeen’s heart and greatest pride.
Yasmeen was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Marcella Randolph, with whom she is now reunited in eternal peace.
Yasmeen leaves her fond memories with her parents, Larry (Christal)Snow and Gwendolyn (Edward) Shepperson; siblings, Ebony (Anthony)Flaherty, Stephanie, Larry Jr., Tiana, Tariq, Iesha, Monique, Marcus, Keisha, and Milon; grandmother, Shirley (Stanley) Franklin; nephews, Naethon and Aedin Flaherty; father of Carlyle, Gilbert Langford; grandmother of Carlyle, Keisha(Ericke) Green; special friend Gabby King ; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
