Wilson Snyder, Jr.
- September 23, 2024

Wilson E. Snyder, Jr., 68, of Etters, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at Harrisburg Hospital on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
He was born on February 9, 1956, in Harrisburg, and was the son of the late Wilson E. and Ella Mae (Haley) Snyder, Sr.
Wilson was outgoing and fun to be around; he had a great sense of humor and worked tirelessly to support his family. He worked in the roofing industry for over 30 years and co-owned J&J Roofing, Inc., with his cousin. Wilson was also a professional tow truck driver for numerous years and was currently employed at Harrisburg Auto Auction, at the time of his passing.
When he wasn’t hard at work, Wilson enjoyed having a good time relaxing at home or enjoying time with his family. Whether it was spending time with his grandchildren at softball games, showing off his Elvis impersonation, watching the Dallas Cowboys, Kung-Fu movies or Westerns like Bonanza and Gun Smoke on television; as long as he was with his family, he was happy.
He is survived by his children Tammy M. Jefferson and husband, Darin of Harrisburg, and Wilson “Wes” E. Snyder, III and wife, Jessica of Duncannon; siblings David Snyder and Wanda “Sis” Haley; grandchildren Kaylee M. Snyder, Aly N. Snyder, and Kase I. Hollenbach; as well as several other nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
Wilson was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Kim Joette (Jackson) Snyder; as well as siblings Mary Alice Snyder, John Snyder, William Haley, and Lucas Snyder.
A public viewing will be held at Neumyer Funeral Home, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens
