Wilna June Hodges, lovingly known as June, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Born in Virginia, June brought her gentle spirit and unwavering strength to California in the 1960s, where she and her beloved husband William(Bill) built a life together. Married for 48 years, their partnership was a testament to enduring love and shared laughter.

June was preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents Onie and Daniel, sisters Phyllis (Gob) and Sue (Roy), brother Sonny, and dear friend Mitch. She is survived by her daughters Peggy (Cheryl) and Mary; grandchildren Ronnie, Krisi, and Binary; and great-grandchildren Caleb and Emalynn, all of whom carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience.

For over 35 years, June was a cherished presence at Cherry Bowl, where she worked until its closing. Her love of bowling extended well into her late seventies, and she was known for her graceful game and joyful spirit on the lanes.

June’s life was marked by quiet strength, deep devotion to family, and a warm smile that made everyone feel at home. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
