William “Billy” Flatt served in the United States Navy as a Sonar Technician. He achieved the grade of E5 before his discharge in September 1984 and took great pride in his service to his country. Later in life, he enjoyed his cowboy lifestyle, driving long-haul semitruck around the country. He was passionate about his family and his friends. He enjoyed his extensive movie collection, old pickup trucks, and never saw a computer he didn’t want to modify. He loved the grill, the smoker, and tinkering in the kitchen. Spending time with family and friends around good food and fun times was a favorite pastime, and Billy never met a stranger. He loved to talk with anyone who would listen.

William will be honored by his family with donations made to the U.S. Vets organization. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made visiting : https://usvets.org/donate/#tribute-donation.
