Vito Recuparo Jr.
NORTH SYRACUSE- Vito L Recuparo Jr, 76, of North Syracuse passed away on July 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Vito L. Recuparo Jr. was born May 9, 1949 in Syracuse to the late Vito Sr and Barbara (Graveline) Recuparo. On June 29th, 1968 he married Deborah Carney in Syracuse. After he retired from General Motors, he spent most of his time with family and friends and watching the Yankees. He and his beautiful wife of 57 years, Deborah, loved to spend their summers up at their camp on the St Lawrence River with their camp family where he loved to relax, go fishing, and tell stories around the campfire.
Vito is survived by his wife Deborah, daughter Rhonda (Kurt) and son Vito III (Justine). He was affectionately known as Grampy to his 7 grandchildren Taylor, Jordan, Dominique (Joseph), Victoria (Christopher), Angelina, Dylan and Sophia and his three great grandchildren Norah, Eloise and James Vito. Vito is also survived by his sister Angelina (Richard)Perioli, his brother Daniel (Shirley d. 2019), his brother-in-law Thomas (Sherry) Carney, sisters-in-law Susan (Jill) Carney and June Mastan (James Craine d.2022). Also aunts uncles and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will hold a private service.
