RICHARD “RICH” BRUSSEAU
Richard Irving “Rich” Brusseau, 81, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at his Palatka residence following an extended illness.
Born in Everett, Washington, Rich had resided in Putnam County for the past 20 years coming from Lakeville, Minnesota. In his youth, he served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and was a fan of both the Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels high-performance aerial demonstration squadrons.
Rich enjoyed fishing, was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings NFL football team, and had been a member of the Fun Time Seniors Bowling League in Palatka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving Brusseau and Stella Dora Inman Brusseau.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Carol Brusseau of Palatka; two sons, Gregory Alain Brusseau of Satsuma and Timothy Richard Brusseau of Palatka; a daughter, Gina Dora Brusseau (Karl) of Minneapolis, MN; a sister, Dianne Fenton of Moundsview, MN; two grandchildren, Stella Brusseau Triebenbach and Finnegan Brusseau Triebenbach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, with military honors bestowed by the U.S. Air Force.
