Virginia Wigby

Virginia M. (Gresian) Wigby, 70, of Milford formerly of Uxbridge passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Milford Hospital.

Miss Wigby was born in Northbridge on February 17,1955, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Margaret (Zifcak) Gresian.

A graduate of Uxbridge High School Class of 1973, and a  Communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Uxbridge. 

Miss Wigby was employed as a clerk by the Uxbridge District Court in Uxbridge for several years.

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Ann Wojnowski and her husband, Stephen J. Wojnowski Jr. of Uxbridge, one grand daughter, Zoe Jane Wojnowski, a step-granddaughter, Kelsey M. Ethier, one brother, Michael J. Gresian of Plainville, one sister, Laura A. Robbins of Uxbridge. 

 Funeral  Services  will be celebrated Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 10:00 am from the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main Street, Uxbridge to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Saint Mary’s Church, Mendon Street, Uxbridge.

Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Granite Street, Uxbridge.

Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the funeral home, and Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
