Vincent Ferri

Vincent F. Ferri, born October 6, 1932 . Birth Place Loseto, Italy.

Beloved husband  of 62 years to Anna; loving father of Vito and Enrico; cherished papa of Nicholas, Vincenzo, and Luke;

dear father- in- law of Tammi and former father-in- law of Marilyn; dear brother of Mario Ferri and the late Vincenza Brandonisio, and Ralph Ferri; brother-in-law of Rita Ferri and Vera Ferri.

He had countless relatives in addition to the above which mainly consisted of an abundance of nieces and nephews and great and great, great, nieces and nephews. Approximately 50 in total. He was known to most of them as Uncle Jim.

He worked for 35 plus years at Leaf Confectionery on Cicero and division and most of those years as a supervisor responsible for the malted milk balls called Whoppers. After retiring from Leaf he began a 15 year career working for the business office of The Winnetka School District. Throughout his life he also did handyman work and took a second part time job at Jewel Foods.

He loved life and especially loved his wife’s cooking.
