Trisha Green

Trisha May Green, 58, of Ft. McCoy passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Grace David Hall House Hospice center in Ocala following an extended illness.

An Ocala native, Trisha grew in in the small hamlet of Reddick in Marion County, before moving to Ft. McCoy where she had resided for the past 40 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother—known affectionately as “Nana”—to her five grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker and homebody who much preferred to spend quality time with her family. In her leisure time, she enjoyed attending the theatre to watch plays, ballets, and other artistic performances. She liked to read and loved all things “dolphins”—porpoises that is, not the football team.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Luther Cooley and Josephine May Deknickker; her beloved husband, Robert J. Green, Sr., and several in-laws.

Survivors include her children, Jessica Betts (Timothy), Samantha Davis, and Robert Green, Jr.; and five grandchildren, Ciara Davis, Alexa Davis, Briana Davis, Korbin Davis, and Maria Marie Green.
