Trevor Lloyd Spencer was born on June 22, 1954, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. In 1969, he migrated to the United States and attended Port Chester schools in Westchester, New York. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of Corporal. During his service, he traveled to Turkey, the Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1977.
Trevor’s love for golf led him to a lifelong career at the Westchester Country Club, where he proudly caddied for 50 years. He had a great sense of humor, a deep love for life, and was passionate about Jamaica, golf, track & field, and the New York Giants.
He is survived by his children, Maurey Spencer, Chelsea Spencer-Weenig, and Kory Rankine. He also leaves behind his sisters, Claudette Gibbs, Sandrea Brown, and Dawn Anderson, and his brothers, Dwight Anderson, Wayne Anderson, and Errol Macdonald.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Verlinda Anderson; his father, Arthur Spencer; and his sister, Marcia Anderson.
Corporal Trevor Lloyd Spencer was deeply loved and will always be cherished. As we honor his memory, we bid him a final Semper Fi and Ooh-Rah. May he rest in peace.
