Travis Holbrook

Travis Olin Holbrook, age 91, of Jonesville, passed away on Friday July 11, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Holbrook was born on December 10, 1933 in Wilkes County to the late James Holbrook and Elsie Holbrook.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Mary Walters Holbrook of the home; a daughter Amy (Ronnie) Alley of Thurmond; four grandchildren Dustin (Kendra) Hege of Elkin, Amanda (David) Burton of Elkin, Travis (Mikayla) Myers of Elkin, and Brittany Myers of Jonesville; eight great-grandchildren Gabe, Addie Belle, Ava, Layla, Lily, Alaina, Maddox, and Jaxon; one great great-grandchild Oakley; and two sister in laws Pat Trexler of Elkin and Lucille Holbrook of Thurmond.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2025 at 11am at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday July 14, 2025 from 6pm-8pm at Johnson Funeral Home. 

The family would like to express their appreciation to Mountain Valley Hospice and caregivers Stephanie and Randi for the loving care they provided.
