Timothy Lowry
Timothy L. Lowry, age 73 of Yorkville, IL was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 5, 1951, the son of Kermit L. and Kathleen “Tippy” (Flynn) Lowry.
Tim was united in marriage on September 21, 1974 to Marcia Behrens and they spent the next 50 years happily together. Tim was a member of Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, IL. He was employed for 49 years, until his retirement in 2019, with Walker Process, Aurora, IL. Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, Iowa Hawkeye fan and avid fisherman who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Tim is survived by his wife, Marcia Lowry of Yorkville, IL; his sons, Ryan (Alison) Lowry of Chicago, IL and Mark Lowry of Yorkville, IL; his grandsons, Logan, Nolan and Charlie Lowry; his brother, Steven (Margaret) Lowry of Sycamore, IL; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Kathleen Lowry; as well as his sister, Kathy Lowry.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Cross Lutheran Church, 8609 Route 47, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Yorkville, IL, concluding with a celebration of life luncheon.
Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Cross Lutheran Church.
