Thomas Harold Jones
Age 81 of Henderson passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday, June 16, 2025 at Nelson-House Funeral Home
with Pastor Bill Moull officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery- West. The family will
receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Tom was born January 16, 1944 in Owosso, the son of Harold and Charlotte (Dean) Jones.
He graduated from Owosso High School, class of 1962 and proudly served in the United States
National Guards.
Tom enjoyed collecting John Deere collectables and loved Michigan State Football “GO
GREEN”. Tom also had a love for gardening, snowmobiling and spending time with his family..
He married Shirley Page in Fort Smith, Arkansas on August 14, 1981; she predeceased him on
March 15, 2024.
Tom retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after many years of service.
He is survived by his daughters Penny (Steve) Lahmann, Amy (Randy) Webber, Vickie (Ron)
Purdy, Angela (Scott) Shrum and Chrisma (Buck) Large; grandchildren Nathaniel Large,
Stefanie Lahmann, Ashlee Lahmann, Chelsea (Carl) Geller, Alison (Payne) Patsey, Aubree
Purdy, Dade Purdy, Gabriel Large, Wyatt Shrum and Rahleigh Shrum; great-grandchildren
Willow and Maple Patsey; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Tom also
is survived by his brother Harvey (Beverly) Jones.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Jones, brothers Donald Jones and Orville Jones.
Tom was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
