Thomas Hill

Thomas L. Hill, 76, entered into eternal rest on February 28, 2025, at his home in Dauphin County.
Born on January 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Ethel M. (Eiserburg) Hill.
Tom devoted over 40 years of his life to the Farm Show Complex, where he played an integral role in ensuring its success and serving his community. His passion for helping others extended beyond his work, as he also had a long and distinguished career as a volunteer firefighter.
Tom began his firefighting journey at the Friendship Fire Company before it closed, and his selfless service continued at the Mt. Pleasant Fire Company, where he volunteered until his passing. He was known for his bravery, kindness, and unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of his neighbors and friends.
Tom will be remembered for his tireless work ethic, his genuine care for others, and his ability to always put others before himself. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of service and community spirit that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife and brother.
A graveside service will be held at East Harrisburg Cemetery on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 1:00 P.M., officiated by Pastor Harold Fox.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Fire Company; date and time to be announced.
