Thomas Gruber

Thomas William Gruber, 65 of Mansfield, Ohio, found peace with the Lord on Monday April 14th, 2025, at Ontario Estates.

Thomas was born in Mansfield on August 8th, 1959, to the late Michael J. Gruber and Charleen (nee Hamilton) Gruber. He retired after working for over 40 years at the Mansfield News Journal. In his down time Thomas was a big St. Louis Cardinals and Michael Jordan fan. When he wasn’t showing his support, he enjoyed working out at his local YMCA.

Thomas is survived by his sibings; Michael J. Gruber, Lynn A. Gruber, Jody K (Mark) Thurin and Lisa M. (Ken) Parsons; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-neices and great-nephews.

Along with his parents, Mike and Charleen, Thomas is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Mansfield Cemetery.
