Elizabeth Clarke

It is with heavy hearts that the friends and family of Elizabeth Lucy Clarke announce her passing at Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital in Petrolia on April 20, 2025 at the age of 91.

Elizabeth (Liz) was the daughter of Roy and Valeria Clarke. Liz lived most of her life in Lambton County, a community she loved. Liz’s Catholic faith was a deep comfort to her and she did her best to follow the teachings and the example of St. Francis of Assisi. Liz was a Registered Nurse, a calling that was deeply important to her. Liz rescued and cared for numerous cats throughout her life. Kindness to people in need and animals was important to her.

Liz received excellent care at the Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital in Petrolia and the kindness of the staff is much appreciated.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church (293 Stuart St, Sarnia). Reception to follow.
