Theresa “Terri” L. Warsaw (nee Waibel)
Resident of Lockport, IL. Terri was born in Chicago and passed away in Joliet at the age of 68.
Terri was the beloved daughter of the late Clarence and Carolyn J. Waibel (nee Welker). She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Warsaw; loving mother of Christopher (Richelle) Rizzo, late son Nicholas Mitchell, Christina (Robert) Bruan, Jennifer (Matthew) Connelly, Kimberly Mitchell, and Matthew A. Warsaw; cherished grandmother of McKenna Rizzo, Stephen, Kirstin, Kyle, Marley, Matthew, Jennalyn, Ella, and Brayden; fun-loving aunt of Rose (Scott) Hannan, James (Megan) Leno, Kathleen (Juan) Garcia, Anthony Leno, Joanna (Brandon) Corbett, and Nicole (Ryan) Riehl; devoted sister of Pam (late Jim) Leno; and dearest friend to many.
Terri graduated from Eli Whitney School and Lourdes High School in Chicago. Terri was a dedicated employee of Flexsteel for over 45 years until her retirement. She loved traveling, spending time doing puzzles, listening to music, and going to concerts with family and friends. Terri was known for her remarkable work ethic, outgoing personality, and unforgettable sense of humor — she always had a joke ready to make others laugh. Terri never missed an opportunity to show up and support her family and friends, whether through a visit, a helping hand, or a shared laugh. She was also the devoted and loving caretaker of her daughter Kim, to whom she gave her whole heart and tireless care.
Terri will be remembered for her generosity, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
The family will receive friends at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave. Chicago, IL, 60638 on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Lying in State, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, 925 E. 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60441 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
