In Loving Memory of

Theresa M. Culligan-Meikle

Theresa M. Culligan-Meikle, daughter of Marie and Joseph Culligan, passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to those she cared about.

Theresa was the loving widow of Warren Meikle and proud mother to her son, Dennis Smith. She was a devoted grandmother to Ellanor Smith and Max Capitano, who were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Culligan Jr.; her sister, Patricia Knoff; and her beloved cat, Chloe, who was always by her side.

Theresa dedicated much of her life to the casino industry, working as a skilled slot technician and later in security. Her sharp mind, technical know-how, and no-nonsense attitude made her a respected presence in every role she held. Later in life, she found deep purpose working as a home health care nurse, where she brought comfort, compassion, and care to others—always putting their needs before her own.

She was known for being tough, honest, and unshakably grounded. Theresa never hesitated to speak her mind or stand up for what she believed in. Yet beneath that strength was a warm and generous spirit. She loved spending time with her family, sharing laughs over cold beers with friends, and enjoying life’s everyday moments.

Theresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her fierce love, loyalty, and spirit live on in the memories she leaves behind.
