Tamia M. “Weiner” Hartkopp, 66 of Sublette, passed away unexpectedly May 26,2025 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Wasmer Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family.
Tamia was born August 15,1958 in Aurora to James and Diane (Niersbach) Schultz. She graduated Aurora West High School in 1976. Tamia had a long career in hospitality, bartending at many popular places in Aurora including The Office and the Aurora Country Club. She belonged to Aurora Moose Lodge #400, Amvets of Aurora, The Irish Club and Turner’s Club. Tamia loved cats throughout her life, all of her kitties were named for candy bars.
She will be forever missed by her significant other Kevin Miller of Sublette, son Jason (Angie) Hartkopp of Rock Falls, 2 daughters: Ashley (Brett) Reiser of Sublette and Brittany (Chance) Fontinauntt of Texas, brother Kevin Bentley of Arkansas, sister Terri (Willliam) Penn of Monmouth, and Twix and Carmello her cat companions. Tamia was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at wasmerfuneralhome.com.
