Tamera McMillian

Tamera Rae McMillian, 65, of Versailles, Kentucky, passed away at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center of Lexington on August 30, 2025. She was born March 17, 1960 in Munich, Germany to the late Ernest Ray and Peggy Shepherd Huffman. Tamera graduated from Woodford County High School and was a former owner of The Bake Shop in Versailles. She was an accomplished artist, enjoyed her flower gardening, sitting on her back porch listening to the birds, and traveling with her friends. She was also a devoted member of Gardenside Baptist Church in Lexington. Her greatest joy in life were her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny McMillian, and her sister, Traci Huffman.

Tamera will be lovingly remembered by her son, Brant Shepherd McMillian, brother, Ernest Ray (Chip) Huffman II, sister-in-law, Debra McMillian Price, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Gardenside Baptist Church, 1667 Alexandria Drive Lexington, Kentucky 40504
