Sylvia Travelstead

Sylvia Travelstead, 83, of Ledbetter passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Alive Hospice Care Center in Nashville, TN.

Sylvia was a homemaker and member of the Ledbetter Church of Christ. She enjoyed riding horses and kayaking.

Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Lynn Travelstead; two children, Jeff (Becky) Waldrup and Jennifer (Billy) Stokes; two stepchildren, Ray Travelstead and Sheri Enoch; three grandchildren, Kyle Waldrup, Taylor Williams, Carnie Lynn Hopkins; and several other grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edith Frazier; and two brothers, Harold Frazier and Bruce Frazier.

Graveside services will be at 11:30am on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.

Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to 11:00am on Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
