Sylvia Roxanne Curtis
August 23, 1967- July 25, 2025
Sylvia was an angel here on earth, she was the light in the darkness. On July 25, 2025 Sylvia became a heavenly angel and will forever remain in the light. For all who were loved by her allow her light to shine through you, let her candle begin to light up in each of you to be a light for others as Sylvia was.
A candle loses nothing of itself when it lights another.
Sylvia will be thought of with love by her soul mate and husband, Matt, her living legacy her children, Jesse, Lindsey (Kevin), and Dustin; beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Cash, Maverick, Mya, Nevaeh, Mackenzie, and Xander; parents Dale and Hazel; siblings, Joanne, Teresa (Darcy), Debbie (Keith), Michael (Lori), Tracy (Lorne), and Jasen (Laurie) and a very large loving extended family.
Sylvia was predeceased by her brother Marcus.
In her down time Sylvia enjoyed to take photos of the birds, doing diamond art, she was an avid reader, a rock collector, a passionate flower gardener, and a coffee addict which she had with her parents most everyday-a Tim’s double double.
She loved to spend time with her sisters, Black Friday Sale Days were a tradition, perfume, shoes, and purses it was truly an excuse to just be together. Her true passion in life was loving her family, they were her every reason for everyday. Time with her husband, children, and her grandkids was the best day, she was supportive in all ways, was forgiving, to show others she was not giving up on them ever! She encouraged others by leading with her deep character of good morals, respect and values; when wounded birds came in her path they were not turned away, she would treat them as one of her own, showed them the good inside themselves.
As a Nana… there are no words to say what a perfect Nana she was, she was incredible.
Sylvia was not a giant of a woman but she had a big heart, she loved hard and fiercely, she was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a mom, a Nana, a soulmate and a saviour.
