Steven Eddy

Steven Ray Eddy, 72, of Hancock, MD, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

Born October 4, 1952, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Ray Weller Eddy and Theabelle Elizabeth (Harnish) Eddy.

Steven was a graduate of Hancock High School.

He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Germany.  Steven retired from Fort Detrick as a food service manager.

In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and doing stained glass.  Steven had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his dogs and cats.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara A. Payne; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his pets, Lola, Bessie, and Jessie.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Randy L. Eddy and Daniel L. Eddy.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
