Steven Bare
Steven Conrad Bare, 68, of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025.
Born in Gary, Indiana on February 18, 1957, he was the son of the late Earle Henry Bare, Jr. and Jean Davison Bare. Following high school, Steven worked in the manufacturing industry for most of his career. Steven loved being outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He spent much of his time working on boats, and he loved boating on the Chesapeake Bay, the Jersey Shore and Hawaii. He enjoyed reading, especially mystery novels, and most of all, he loved his family.
Surviving are his siblings Margo Bare, wife of Steven Proctor, Earle Bare III, husband of Charlene, Richard Bare, husband of Stephanie, and Andrew Bare; and his nephews and nieces Zachary, Julie, Bryan, Davis, Alison and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his brother John Bare, and his nephew Abram Bare.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held at a later date.
