Stephen Erickson

Stephen Michael Erickson, 31, of Purvis, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at U.M.M.C. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Good Hope Baptist Church from 1 P.M. until service time at 3 P.M. followed by burial in Cameron Cemetery.

Stephen was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was a boxer, and co-owner of a boxing gym. He enjoyed watching wrestling, whether it was W.W.E. or another brand, and listening to music. He was a sweet and kind soul, who never met a stranger and loved everybody. He loved spending time with his friends and family, and collected comic books and graphic novels with his brother, Jesse.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barnard and Blanche Dyar.

He is survived by his parents, Sebron and DeeDee Erickson of Purvis; his brother, Jesse James Erickson of Purvis; his sister, Danielle Ruth Erickson of Purvis; his paternal grandmother, Delores Ann Manning of Purvis; his maternal grandmother, Ramona Gail Bryant of Purvis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
