Shirley Williamson
Shirley L. Williamson, 93, of Altoona, passed away Saturday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Gladys M. (Robinson) Clinger.
Shirley is survived by her son, Lane Williamson; grandson, Parish Foreman; great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Pheona; and sister, Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Winifred Schultz and H. Robert Clinger.
A 1950 graduate of Altoona High School, Shirley retired in 1988 from Sylvania, where she worked in assembly.
Shirley was a devoted member of St. John’s Reformed Church in Hollidaysburg, as well as The Red Hat Society and Weight Watchers.
She enjoyed trips to the beach, especially Atlantic City. Shirley loved music, dancing, and watching high school sports. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Family and friends will be received from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at The Good Funeral Home Inc, 108 Alto Reste Park Altoona, Pa 16601 where a funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10am. Private interment will be held at Alto Reste Park, Altoona.
