Sheila Hughes

Sheila R. Hughes, 59, of Parkersburg passed away October 24, 2025 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born on April 14, 1966 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Larry E. and Donna Bock Hughes. She graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1984 and later attended Parkersburg Beauty Academy. Sheila was a devoted and loving caregiver to her entire family.

She is survived by two daughters, Courtney Nicole Thompson, Erica Christine (David) Dodds; three grandchildren, Larissa, Trysten, Jayden; one sisters, Sherry Knotts; two nephews, Brandon Cline and Coty Knotts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Eric Thompson and niece, Chantel Knotts.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Adam Myers officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
