Rudolph Griffin

Rudy peacefully departed this life on May 1, 2025.

Rudolph Rudy Griffin was born to Mr. & Mrs. Walter Griffin Jr on February 11, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA

He went to St. Briggs Catholic School in his younger age and graduated from Manual Arts High School.

He served honorably in the US Marine Corps in 1969 until 1973 where he traveled to a lot of places.

After being honorably discharged Rudy started working for the Los Angeles County Maintenance Dept. for 40+ years as a dedicated employee.

Rudy enjoyed life, he loves dressing up and going out for entertainment. He loves fishing, camping or just watching tv all day long, especially sports (his favorite team) Pittsburgh Steelers.

His mother Odelia Griffin, father Walter Griffin Jr, brothers Albert Griffin, Walter Griffin III and sister Jeanette preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his sister Annette Sanders, nieces, nephews, great nephews’, great nieces, cousins, special friend Marian, L.A. County friends, VA friends and associates.

Special thanks to Marian, his nephews Walter Griffin IV, Kadumu Griffin, nieces Yonash, Anita, and his sister Annette, Nathaniel, VA WLA Medical Center Staff, Mei Kameda, LCSW (CLC building 213 and 215) Dr. Heather D’adamo and staff, Virginia Social Worker (at CLC 213) his private nurse Kahill Scott (at CLC 215) and his Barber Dreamer.
