Rosemarie Camacho

Rosemarie Camacho, 68, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025. Born on March 7, 1957, in Chicago, she was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  Rosemarie was the cherished daughter of Nelly Camacho and is preceded in death by her father, Marcelino Camacho. She is survived by her loving sons Esteban Torres, Brian C. Torres, and Andres Torres; her devoted daughter-in-law Samantha Torres; and her treasured grandchildren Yadiel I. Torres, Emma R. Torres,  Valentino E. Torres, Diana and Delilah V. She also leaves behind her dear sisters Carmen I. Martinez and Dianna Aviles.  A proud employee of Chicago Public Schools, Rosemarie dedicated her career to serving her community. Outside of work, she found joy in arts and crafts, baking, singing, and online shopping. Her creativity and warmth touched everyone who knew her.  Rosemarie was deeply rooted in her faith. She was a certified chaplain, a notary, and an active member of the First Spaulding Church of God in Chicago, IL, where she served with devotion and love.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.  Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, July 30th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casey & Rios Funeral Home 4540 West Diversey Avenue, Chicago, IL 60639.
