In Loving Memory of Rosanne Acosta Stebler-Kratz

July 8, 1943 – July 9, 2025

Rosanne Acosta Stebler-Kratz, born in San Diego, California, to Enrique (“Hank”) and Marguerite (“Maggie”)  Acosta, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, just one day after celebrating her 82nd birthday. Her warmth, devotion, and sharp wit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Rosanne (Rosie) dedicated over four decades of her life to her work as an administrative assistant, where her meticulous nature and unwavering commitment earned her admiration from colleagues and friends alike. But her truest passions lived beyond the office—she was an avid bowler, a diehard Padres fan, and a globe-trotter whose stories from the road lit up every room she entered. If there was a bingo hall or casino nearby, you could bet Rosie would be there, dauber in hand or sitting at a video poker machine, delighting in the game and the camaraderie.

Above all, Rosie adored her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Kratz, and is survived by her loving sister Cynthia Susan Maestretti; her children: Christopher Fields, Laura Gutierrez (Edward), and her stepdaughter, Kim Perez. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Jacob (Kayla), Miranda, Bella, Ethan, Alana, and Cecelia. Each held a special place in Rosie’s heart, and her love for them was boundless and unconditional.

Rosie’s humor, resilience, and generous spirit will be deeply missed—but never forgotten. She touched countless lives and leaves behind a family who carries her memory with pride and love.
