Ronald Dumont

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Alex Dumont, age 79, on September 8, 2025, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Ron was born in Paradise Hill, SK on March 25, 1946.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Eileen, his children Rhonda (Barry), Dallas (Tanya), Cory (Terri), his grandchildren Matt (Shyanne), Dalton (Taryn), Charlene (Nolan), Savanah (Daniel), Austyn, Keeley, Reed, and his great-grandson Thayne, who were the light of his life. He was also a proud brother, uncle, and friend to many, always quick to lend a hand and offer wisdom—often accompanied by a grin and a story from the “good old days.”

A hardworking man with a love for the simpler things in life, Ron spent his career with Mullen Trucking. He had a true passion for fishing and wood working in his shop, enjoying their Millet acreage and spending time with his family.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of the medical professionals that helped along Ron’s journey.
