Roger Proctor

Roger Dale Proctor, 82 years of age, of Dickson, TN, passed away August 17, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Dale was born August 4, 1943, in Cumberland Furnace, TN, to the late Clyde R. Proctor and Ruby Mae (Harvey) McCaleb.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Gregory Proctor, Christopher (Steffanie) Proctor, Melissa Tucker, and Amie Beth Chessor; grandchildren, Joshua Proctor, Hollie (Nathan) Manley, Nikki Cude, Lillie (Noah) Proctor, Taylor Tucker, Talon Tucker, Bethany Chessor, Chelsie Chessor, Gracie Chessor, Carlee Chessor, and Christopher Todd Popek; sister, Linda Barefoot; brother, Jarrett (Bugs) Proctor; and several greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Grace Proctor; sister, Roberta Shelby; and step-brother, Lane Proctor.

There will be a Graveside sunset service on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at Union Cemetery. Bro. Eric Vick will be officiating.
