Robert Ralston
Robert N. Ralston, age 96, loving husband, brother-in-law, father, and friend—passed away peacefully at Wesley Manor on October 14, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Norman and Helen (Schultz) Ralston and attended Darby High School. He spent many childhood summers in Wildwood, New Jersey, helping his father build the family’s vacation home. After high school, Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
On January 23, 1988, Bob married Regina (Interrante) Ralston. Together, they shared a life full of love, travel, and adventure until Regina’s passing in 2024. We take comfort in knowing they are together again.
Bob enjoyed a long and accomplished career with Verizon, rising through the ranks into management and directorship positions. Known for his professionalism and integrity, Bob earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. He was often described as a “gentleman among gentlemen.”
In retirement, Bob gave back generously to his community. He led beach walks, assisted senior citizens with tax preparation, and served for many years on the Ocean City Zoning Board. He also supported local civic life by volunteering as a campaign treasurer for several community candidates.
Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife Regina, his parents, and his son Scott Ralston. He is survived by his children, David Ralston and Janet Walton, as well as a large and loving extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at The Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ. Friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clermont, NJ.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Wesley Manor for their compassionate and loving care of Bob over the past 16 months.
