Danny Francis Morton, age 76, of Gatlinburg, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025.

A lifelong antique dealer, Danny was deeply devoted to the family business, Morton’s Antiques, established in 1949 by his parents. From a young age, he developed a passion for collecting coins, a hobby that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He was a longtime member of the Appraisers Association of America and a certified appraiser, respected by colleagues and collectors alike.

Danny loved to travel, dine out, and spend time with his friends and family. He was an enthusiastic supporter of UT football and a faithful Atlanta Braves fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Oliver Morton, Sr. and Alma Bain Morton; his siblings, Betty Joan Ward and Louis Oliver Morton, Jr.; niece Victoria May Morton; and nephew Tommy J. Norton, Jr.

Danny is survived by his beloved wife, Roxana Enriquez; children, Tiffany White (Robert), Holly Husband (Phillip), and Fred Morton; grandchildren, Robbie White, Rory White, Phillip Husband III, and Peter Husband. He is also survived by his sisters, Kay Morton and Linda Norton; and nieces and nephews, Carrie Ball, Nikke Norton, Teresa Ogle, Donnie Ward, Greg Ward, Jeff Ward, and Oliver Morton.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, followed by a service at 6:00 PM, officiated by Rev. David Travis. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 20, 2025, and proceed to Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge for an 11:00 AM graveside service and interment.
