Robert Moriarty

Dr. Robert Vincent Moriarty born February 5, 1941. Proud father of Robert (Yvonne) Moriarty, Bridget (Bryan) McNamara, and Sean (Margaret) Moriarty.

Fond grandfather of nine: Steven (Margaret), Samantha, Robert, Kelly (Joe), Katie, Jack, Peyton, Lexi, and Kendall. Great grandfather of Vincent, Mila, and Nora.

Loving son of the late Thomas “Con” and Bridget (nee Flaherty) Moriarty. Devoted brother of Gerald P. (Mary Anne), the late Fr. James, the late Thomas J. (the late Lorraine), the late John E. (Lynn), the late Edward P. (Jean), the late Marie B. (the late John) Cummings, and the late Myles T. (the late Donna).

Dear cousin and great friend of the late Sister Joseph Sullivan. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Bob graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Winona, Minnesota and received a Master’s Degree and Doctorate in Educational Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Licensed Clinical Psychologist for over 30 years. Served in various administrative roles at Marmion Military Academy and Harper College. Former President of Morton College and Forest Institute of Clinical Psychology. Named to “Who’s Who in America” and a Life Member of the PGA. Resided at the friendly confines of Smith Village where he participated in the chorale and many activities with good friends. Family and friends will meet on August 15th, 2025 at Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 S. Lawndale Ave., Evergreen Park, IL. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Private.
