Robert Marinaro

Robert John Marinaro, of New Rochelle, passed away September 4, 2025, one day shy of his 84th birthday. He was born in the Bronx to Ciro & Rose Marinaro. Robert worked for many years for the Social Security Administration. Following retirement, he spent 15 years as a substitute teacher for special needs children at Ward School. Robert dedicated his time in service of others, both at New Rochelle Hospital and as a teacher for ENL students. He rooted for his NY teams; the Yankees, Giants and Rangers and he always enjoyed a chance to socialize with friends. He along with his devoted wife, Geraldine, also loved spending time up in Maine. In addition to his wife, Robert is the cherished father of Laurie Marinaro and Liana Marinaro Demenagas (Emmanuel) and the loving grandfather of John Robert & Sofia Rose. He is the dear brother of Rosanne Lopez (Thomas), To honor Robert’s life, family and friends will gather on Monday 4-8pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
