Robert “Bob” Antone

Robert “Bob” F. Antone, age 78 of New Lisbon, passed away on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. Bob was the son of Wilford and Delores (Hill) Antone and was born on November 2, 1946, in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Bob graduated from High School in 1966 and then proudly served in the United States Navy from December 29, 1966, to September 1, 1970, during the Vietnam War. He worked for Exopack in Tomah, retiring after 34 years.

Bob thoroughly enjoyed his family, his little dog Punkin, his home, yardwork and tinkering around in his garage. In his younger years he really enjoyed car shows and sightseeing on every backroad he could find. Whenever anything was broken or wouldn’t run, he’d take it apart to see if he could fix it before throwing it away.

He is survived by his wife Debi Waterman-Antone, children, Jon R. (Jill) Woodard of New Lisbon and Shawn (Shelley) Woodard of Mauston; granddaughters, Amber (Mike) Edwards of Mauston, Becky (Kyle) Farnsworth of Waterloo, WI., Erica Braund of Mauston, Cody Woodard of Mauston and Morgyn Hofstetter of New Lisbon; great granddaughters, Leslie, Emmaleigh and Addison Farnsworth; siblings, Ellen (Greg) Ball of Cassville, WI., Bonnie (Maurice) Amundson of Sparta and Carol Antone of Tomah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Delores; brothers Phillip, Donald and Leo; sisters Viola Schnitler, Beverly Chambers and Linda Antone.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Winding Rivers United Methodist (N6774 Germantown Rd) in New Lisbon, WI. at 11:00 A.M. with military honors and a luncheon to follow.
