Robert Bennett

Robert Ray Bennett, Sr., of Mannington, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1945 in Baltimore, MD a son of the late Charles Bennett Sr., and Alberta Simmons Bennett.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Parsons Bennett whom he married May 10, 2021; sons: Robert Bennett, Jr. of Louisiana and David Bennett of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren: Dawn and Aaron Bennett both of Baltimore, MD; 4 brothers: Charles Bennett, Jr. and John Bennett of PA, Jim Bennett of Jacksonville, NC, and Ed Bennett of Baltimore, MD; sisters: Nancy Sheeks of Baltimore, MD, Pamela Humphreys of Jacksonville, NC and Leslie Bennett and husband Harley Flanigan of Pa; special nephews Jordan Flanigan and wife

Selena Wolfe, John Paul Flanigan and wife Natalie, Charlie Flanigan and girlfriend Cindy, and Colton Flanigan; a friend: Tawyna Boyer; a stepson: Brandon Jones; stepdaughters: Virginia Kennedy Rexroad and Rebecca Hibbs; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Robert is deceased by a brother, Dannny Eugene Bennett.
