Jesumene Louis

Jesumene Louis, age 83, formerly of Spring Valley, New York, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025. 

Jesumene was born from Cius and Vertude Louis Mary, in Boucan Carre, Haiti on July 8th, 1941. Jesumene was the third of four siblings. She met her late husband, Jean Thomas Louis in Boucan Carre, and was married on April 12, 1969. Jesumene is survived by one brother Louimon Louis Mary and one brother in law Laette Louis. Jesumene is survived by her four sons, Jean Pierre Amisial Louis and his wife, Marline Lucarne Louis, his first wife Myrriam Auguste, and his children(Jayvhonds, Annexya, and Vhonds Sebastien); Emmanuel Louis, his wife Emmanise Louis, and his children(Emmlyn, Elijah, and Ethan); Jean Thomas Junior Louis, his partner Marie Ginou Albert and their child(Hadarah), his first wife Darley Mezadieu and their children(Denley Thomason and Keyssa); Guy Herve Louis. Her five daughters, Marie Michele Louis and her son(Hussein); Marie Jessie Louis and her daughter(Stessie Gabriella); Ertha Gabriel Louis, her husband Frantz M Charles, and their children(Samantha Dayana, Schmide-Lovenscia, and Laura Herna); Marie Ketty Louis, her husband Wilford Jean Louis, and their children(Einstein Simon, Tracy, and Miphaela); Suze Marie Carline Louis, her husband Jean Renel Pierre, and their children(Bradley, Brandon, and Brian); Extended family members living in her same household, Marie E. Jean Louis, Roselaine Moril, Girlene Jean, and Darfa Desir; And numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 

She had an adventurous spirit and was a devoted spouse, mother, and grandmother. One of her greatest joys was being the famous seamstress of her town Mirebalais and teaching all her children how to sew. Jesumene’s kindness, her fun spirit and love for her family and friends will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was truly loved by everyone who came into her life. Mommy, Grandma, We will miss you deeply and you will forever be in our hearts.
