It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of ROBERT “BOB” P. ARCHER, 80, of Yonkers, NY, who passed away on March 8, 2025, in Lakewood Ranch, Fl.
Bob was predeceased by his brother Michael Archer with whom he is now reunited. He was a dedicated family man, survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pamela Archer, daughters Alison Archer, (Marc Wisnosky), Kelly-Ann Sedore, (Ralph) and Amanda “Mimi” Archer. Bob was also a proud grandfather to Natalie and Nicholas Sedore, and Anastasia Wisnosky. Bob is also survived by his sisters Phyllis Hickey and Louella D’Addio, and brothers James Archer and Gilbert Archer. Bob had numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bob, known for his love of golf, cherished spending time on the greens with his friends and after every nice shot a resounding “yea Bob” could be heard throughout the course.
Bob’s life will be celebrated in services that reflect his love for his family and friends. Visitation for Bob will be held at Barber Funeral Home, 428 Main Street, Johnson City, NY, on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4PM to 7PM, and a memorial service will be held at 6:30PM. A second visitation will be held at Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY, held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 4PM to 7PM, and a memorial service will be held at 6:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at Saint Mary’s Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, 485 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY, on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:00AM with a burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent in Bob’s memory to Saint Mary’s Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, 485 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701. Our beloved Bob will forever remain in our hearts.
