Richard Springler
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard on September 9, 2025, at the age of 76.
Richard was born on September 24,1948 to parents Edward and Hazel. After graduating high school, he went on to study at the University of Alberta, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a devoted husband, father, musician, cook, inventor, and servant of God.
Richard is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Sharry, his children Lindsay (Jose), Leanna (Scott), Ryan and Evan, sister Ellen, six grandchildren (Coby, Tegan, Rhiya, Trinity, Jackson and Bennett), along with many extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his father (Edward) and mother (Hazel), and siblings Douglas, Phyllis, Arlene, Gary, Lynn, Carol and Faye.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel located at 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Roozen Family Hospice Center located at 9808 148 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
