CELICEO, RICHARD J.

Richard (Buddy) Celiceo, born on May 23, 1934, was called home on Tuesday March 4, 2025. He will be dearly missed by his family: son, Steven Celiceo; daughters, Theresa Grojean and Ellen Cabrera. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Celiceo and Florine Villalobos; his sister, Cecilia Torres; and his son, Richard A. Celiceo.

He always enjoyed family gatherings: laughing with friends and relatives, enjoying good food, and sharing stories. He was blessed with nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s spirit lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.

Visitation will take place on Friday March 14th, from 10:00 a.m. with service at 12:00 p.m. at Community Mortuary, Chula Vista. Burial at Holy Cross cemetery in San Diego will follow at 2:15 p.m
