Retired TV Anchorman releases first audiobook, performed by Carson City resident
- October 9, 2025

Retired local television anchor, Bill Brown, has released his first audiobook in time for Halloween.
“The Mansion” recounts the story of a 250 year old New England haunted house, and how its resident evil spirit, The Harvester, collected souls over the decades.
The audiobook is performed by Jim Patton, local Carson City resident, and is rated PG, suitable for family listening.
The book includes a note to readers/listeners, voiced by Bill Brown, that explains why he actually believes in ghosts, and his experience in accompanying paranormal investigators during his television reporting years.
The book puts a modern spin on “ghost busting” and explains how modern-day paranormal investigations are conducted. The audiobook is available exclusively from billbrownnovels.com and during the month of October, is selling at a 25% discount.
